We are SLAMMED for lessons at the 202 Phoenix studio during the week, which is a great problem to have! But, we have a team of teachers committed to top notch teaching of the essential elements of music: fundamentals, practical music theory, and technique, all for the sake of great music, enrolling now for our West side location (at McKenzie Road Baptist Church)—perfect for those in Tumwater, Shelton, and West Olympia!
Piano or guitar with Trent Mondays or Tuesdays!
Trent grew up in a musical household and started piano lessons in the second grade. With the musical knowledge he gained through piano, he also taught himself baritone ukulele, guitar, bass, accordion and drums. Trent holds a B.A. in Music from Lawrence University in Wisconsin and played and toured with several bands before moving to Davis, CA in 2015. Trent has been teaching piano for pretty much the last ten years and moved here about a year ago with his wife and two children. Trent loves teaching with movement and even including chants and other fun things, because it develops inner musicality and encourages creativity and improvisation, both with the voice and at the piano. Trent is a highly capable musician with a diverse musical background, and just a warm and inviting guy/educator.

Piano or Clarinet with Tessa Tuesdays or Thursdays!
Tessa is a student at The Evergreen State College and has been playing piano for 13 years. She enjoys the music of Ravel, Vaughan Williams and Corelli. Her hobbies are reading Greek classics and studying languages, and she hopes to one day be a professor.
Guitar with Braedon Thursdays!
Braedon is a Grays Harbor College Graduate with 9 years of experience playing the guitar. He likes listening to all music, from John Coltrane to Jimi Hendrix. In addition to playing the guitar, he enjoys playing drums and the process of recording/mixing instruments as well. His life goal is to perform, create, and teach music.
McKenzie Road is a great location for those closer to or on the west side, and it is nice and spacious, and quiet, not nearly as busy as the Phoenix street location—so if you prefer a quieter scene, you will love it! Either way, if you need music lessons and you can’t get in at the Phoenix location, it is worth the drive to have such a great team of committed music educators you and your kids will love!
