We’ve got a drum lab starting a few weeks. I love drum labs! They’re super fun, they’re affordable, they’re a great entryway into music and drumming. All you need is a pair of sticks and a drum pad, and if you want to, a bucket. Drum labs kind of have a special place in my heart too because they are one of the first group classes We ever started when we were just a handful of students, thousands of students ago at the Academy.
The other thing that’s great about Drum lab, is we’ve got Eli, an amazing college-educated professional drummer. Who knows how to unpack, breakdown and teach drumming in a way that makes it fun and understandable. He is literally the only one in town who is able to do what he does and does it well.
If you’ve got kids ages 8 to 11 and you’re in the Olympia area, and they’ve got free time this summer, they need to be in this drum lab!
Buckets. Sticks. Drums. Buckets of fun! Wednesdays at 4 starting this summer after the July 4th break, just $77 bucks a month! If you’ve got kids that want to play the drums, this is a great entryway into drumming and music. Eli’s great, they’ll have tons of fun, ideal for ages 8 to 11. This class is great for any student, even if you have a kid learning piano, trumpet, violin, voice, why not add a second instrument this summer! Classes like this are so great for that!
